鄒人稱它”evi no maakako”

The evergreen giant on the roof of Taiwan – Yushan Juniper

Its traces can be seen at altitudes above 3,400 meters.

The Tsou people only need to pass the Yushan Juniper when climbing high.

We are close to the birthplace of the Tsou people

The Tsou people call it ”evi no maakako”

It means a tree climbing on the ground

The Yushan Juniper community is also an eternal climbing forest in the eyes of the tribe.
