鄒族服飾介紹

由於以狩獵為生，皮革是鄒族相當常見的服飾製作材質之一，捕獲的動物有鹿、山羌、山羊、豹或熊等，以皮革製成的服裝有皮衣、皮帽、背心、披肩、後敞褲、套袖、胸飾、鞋等等。

除了男子的獸皮衣飾以外，以紅色布料為主的衣服配上帶著羽飾的帽子，是鄒族男子的較為人熟知的打扮。

女子服飾包括胸兜、刺繡頭巾、藍衣黑裙是普遍一般認知的印象。女性服裝基本配備有纏頭的黑布（成年婦女）、長袖短上衣、胸兜、額帶、腰帶、長裙，穿護腳布（又稱護膝、膝褲）。
皮帽是利用兩片水瓢形軟鹿皮縫製而成，有保護腦部的作用，平日不會戴上，​​通常捲起扣在皮帶上，在鄒族男子接受成年禮之後才能配戴；而使用羽毛裝飾之皮帽則是男子相當顯著特徵，通常在盛裝之時，皮帽的頂上會插上鷹羽或鷲羽毛一至四根（現在多使用帝雉的羽毛），其意在彰顯男子的勇敢英武。

Because they make a living by hunting, leather is one of the most common clothing materials for the Tsou people. The animals they capture include deer, mountain sheep, goats, leopards, bears, etc. The clothing made of leather includes leather coats, leather hats, vests, and shawls. , back open pants, sleeves, chest accessories, shoes, etc.

In addition to men’s animal skin clothing, clothes mainly made of red fabrics and hats with feathers are the most well-known attire of Tsou men.

Women’s clothing includes breast pockets, embroidered headscarves, blue clothes and black skirts, which are generally recognized impressions. Women’s clothing is basically equipped with a black cloth wrapped around the head (for adult women), a long-sleeved top, a breast pocket, a forehead band, a belt, a long skirt, and foot protection cloth (also known as knee pads and knee pants).
The leather hat is sewn from two pieces of soft deerskin in the shape of a scoop. It has the function of protecting the brain. It is not worn on weekdays. It is usually rolled up and buckled on the belt. It can only be worn after the Tsou men have received the coming-of-age ceremony. The leather hat decorated with feathers is a very distinctive feature of men. Usually when dressing up, one to four eagle or vulture feathers are inserted on the top of the leather hat (nowadays, the feathers of the emperor pheasant are often used), which means It shows the bravery and prowess of men.
