源自於鄒族勇士神話

繡眼畫眉有五種鳥叫聲作為占卜吉凶依據 :

tmusansango 清脆宏亮的鳴聲 —大吉

zezezeze 愉悅的鳴聲 —吉兆

emu’au 滯澀沮喪的鳴聲 —凶兆

caicici 急促驚嚇的鳴聲 —凶兆

engaho 哀戚的鳴聲 —大凶

Derived from the Tsou warrior myth

Xiuyan Thrush has five kinds of bird calls as the basis for divination of good and bad luck:

tmusansango clear and loud sound — great luck

zezezeze happy chirping — good omen

emu’au, a sluggish cry of frustration — a bad omen

caicici, a rapid and frightening cry – a bad omen

engaho mournful cry — great evil
