獸泉

 

很久很久以前

樂野一帶有個大面積的泥巴

是許多動物聚集的地方

因此那地方叫獸泉

其水質帶點鹹味

許多的動物非常喜歡來這裡休息、喝水，從遠處看

可見動物群因被陽光照射而閃閃發光

 

長輩們三不五時叮嚀

去獸泉打獵時

最大的那一隻水鹿千萬不要打

免得發生不好的事

 

有一天

兄弟二人相約去獸泉打獵

到了目的地

正巧看到很多的水鹿在喝水

看到最大的那一隻頓時忘了長輩們的叮嚀

於是就瞄準射向那隻

射中後水鹿趕緊逃跑

兄弟二人在後面沿著血跡追趕

沿路看見沾有血跡的葛藤

追到最後卻不見了

 

忽然抬頭一看

那隻水鹿竟在前方的茄冬樹上

用手敷著傷口

兄弟二人非常害怕

驚嚇之餘踩斷了一根芒草莖

被樹上的鹿怪發現

於是把其中一位抓走

另一位則趁機趕快逃跑

The two brothers made an appointment to go hunting at the Beast Spring.

Arrived at destination

I happened to see a lot of sambar deer drinking water.

When I saw the biggest one, I immediately forgot the instructions of my elders.

So I aimed and shot at that one

Sambar deer ran away after being shot

The two brothers chased along the blood trail.

I saw bloody kudzu vines along the road.

Chased until the end but disappeared

 

Suddenly I looked up

The sambar deer was actually on the sambar tree in front of us

Cover the wound with your hands

The two brothers were very scared

Frightened, I stepped on a miscanthus stem and broke it.

Discovered by a deer monster in a tree

So he took one of them away

The other one took the opportunity to run away quickly
